We pride ourselves on employing skilled tradespeople who share our commitment to quality, professionalism and teamwork. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Bricklayers to join our team on a long-term residential development in Four Marks, Hampshire.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced and reliable Bricklayers to join our team working on a large-scale residential housing development comprising approximately 350 new-build homes at Mulberry Grove, Four Marks, Hampshire.
You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality bricklaying works in accordance with construction drawings, NHBC standards, Building Regulations and site specifications. This role forms part of a long-term project delivering block and beam flooring systems and associated masonry works.
Key Responsibilities
· Construct brick, block and cavity wall masonry to a high standard.
· Build internal and external walls in accordance with drawings and specifications.
· Carry out foundation, substructure and superstructure brickwork.
· Install lintels, DPCs, cavity trays and associated masonry components.
· Carry out supporting brickwork associated with block and beam floor installations.
· Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations and NHBC Standards.
· Maintain line, level, gauge and plumb throughout construction.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings and construction details.
· Work safely and efficiently alongside other site trades.
· Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
· Report defects, material shortages and health and safety concerns to site management.
· Rectify workmanship defects where required.
Essential Requirements
· Proven experience as a Bricklayer on new-build residential developments.
· Valid CSCS Blue or Gold Skilled Worker Card.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
· Good understanding of NHBC Standards and UK Building Regulations.
· Own hand tools.
· Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
· Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
· Experience working on large housing developments.
· Experience with block and beam floor support brickwork.
· SSSTS qualification (advantageous but not essential).
· First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).
Working Hours
· Monday to Friday
· 8:00am – 5:00pm
· Overtime may be available depending on programme requirements.
