Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Grill Cook to join our team. This role entails work on the cooking line whilst primarily working on the grill and is critical in ensuring smooth operations during assigned shifts, maintaining attention to detail, and supporting the team to achieve performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Run the engine - managing food preparation and cleaning with great communication, speed and accuracy all while maintaining food safety.
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a fast food kitchen.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
