Gutter Assure is looking for a reliable, hardworking Gutter Cleaning Technician to join our professional gutter-cleaning team.
You'll work across residential areas carrying out pre-booked and same-day gutter cleans using professional high-reach gutter-vacuum equipment.
This is a practical, active outdoor role with a guaranteed hourly wage plus bonuses for completed jobs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving a company van between working areas
- Cleaning residential gutters using professional gutter-vacuum equipment
- Working primarily from ground level using high-reach poles
- Completing pre-booked and same-day jobs
- Taking clear before-and-after photographs
- Checking gutters and accessible downpipes for obvious problems
- Carrying out straightforward minor gutter repairs when authorised
- Replacing items such as seals, brackets, clips and gutter joints
- Showing customers the completed work
- Taking card/contactless payments where required
- Updating completed jobs using our system
- Keeping the van, equipment and stock clean and organised
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
Pay
£13.00 per hour basic pay
PLUS performance bonuses for completed jobs
You'll receive a guaranteed hourly wage while also having the opportunity to increase your earnings when the team has a productive day.
Essential Requirements
- Full, valid UK driving licence — essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable driving a company van
- Comfortable working outdoors throughout the working day
- Physically capable of handling gutter-vacuum equipment and high-reach poles
- Confident speaking professionally with homeowners
- Comfortable using a smartphone
- Able to take clear before-and-after photographs
- Able to work efficiently and independently
- Honest, trustworthy and presentable
- Able to look after company vehicles, equipment and tools
Applicants without a valid UK driving licence cannot be considered for this position.
Experience
Previous gutter-cleaning experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Gutter cleaning
- Window cleaning
- Roofing
- Exterior cleaning
- Property maintenance
- Pressure washing
- Grounds maintenance
- Other practical outdoor roles
We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, reliability and work ethic than someone who already knows everything about gutter cleaning.
Minor Gutter Repairs
Our vans carry common gutter parts including seals, brackets, clips, unions and other fittings.
Where a genuine minor problem is identified, you'll be trained to explain the issue to the customer and, with their approval, carry out straightforward repairs.
We do not pressure customers into unnecessary work.
Anything requiring more substantial guttering or roofing work should be photographed and reported rather than attempted outside your training.

How Gutter Assure Works
We concentrate our teams in selected residential areas rather than sending cleaners across the region for individual jobs.
Customers can book online, while our field-sales team also generates same-day work in the area.
Your working day is designed to be straightforward:
Job allocated → gutters cleaned → before/after photos → approved minor repairs → payment → job completed → next property.
This allows you to complete multiple jobs within the same streets and estates with minimal unnecessary travelling.

Gutter Assure is initially building its operation across the North West, with plans to add further teams as the business grows.
