We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operative to join us at our Chorley site. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone with a can-do attitude who enjoys practical work, keeping things organised, and making sure customers get their orders quickly and correctly.
The Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for preparing customer orders, supporting driver deliveries, and moving stock safely around the warehouse.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing customer orders for collection and delivery
- Assisting with driver deliveries to customers when required
- Moving, loading, and unloading stock and deliveries
- Handling radiators and other heavy items safely (this role involves regular heavy lifting)
- Keeping the warehouse tidy, organised, and safe to work in
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiasm and a positive, can-do attitude (the most important part of the role)
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- A team player who’s also comfortable working independently
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is useful, but not essential—the right attitude matters most
