About Konnect
Konnect Communities are a not-for-profit organisation empowering people affected by the criminal justice system—whether actively involved, at risk, or impacted in other ways—as well as those who are victims or survivors of abuse. We are committed to helping individuals move forward with dignity, rebuild their lives, and contribute to creating safer communities for all.
The Opportunity
Konnect are proud to be working in partnership with The Women’s Centre Cornwall and CLEAR to provide support to men as part of the wider Oak Service which provides care and support for people in Cornwall who have experienced sexual violence and abuse.
Too often, men dealing with complex challenges—like homelessness, substance use, or frequent mental health crises—carry the heavy, undisclosed weight of childhood sexual abuse. Many frequently fall through the cracks of traditional services.
As a Specialist Support Worker with Konnect, you will offer life-changing, one-to-one advocacy and trauma stabilisation to men who have experienced sexual violence and abuse to help them cope and recover, heal and re-build their lives at a time that is right for them.
Due to the nature of this work, this post requires an Enhanced DBS check.

A Day in the Life of a Specialist Support Worker
