Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, and store materials
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper handling
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization within the warehouse
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment for all team members
- Support warehouse management in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and processing transactions
- Strong materials handling skills with an emphasis on heavy lifting and safe manual practices
- Valid forklift certification or licensing with demonstrated proficiency in operating 2 ton counter balance and Reach types of forklifts
- Extensive warehouse experience, including load & unload operations and shipping & receiving procedures
- Basic arithmetic skills for inventory calculations, measurements, and documentation accuracy

Pay: From £13.60 per hour
