We are currently recruiting for a FULL TIME FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER to work with our client on a 2-1 basis who has MS and an Acquired Brain Injury living in their own home in the Sutton Coldfield Area.
Support Worker Duties:
Working within an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis, including days, weekends and waking nights have the flexibility to work shifts as part of a team.
Supporting our client to ensure her complex daily personal care and welfare needs are met. This will require Support Workers assisting our client to get ready for the day and to help her access the community. Our client will also require support whilst on holiday.
You must have an enthusiastic personality and outlook on life, be engaging, motivated and have a caring attitude.
Support Workers need to have experience in the care industry and working with clients previously that have an Acquired Brain Injury would be advantageous.
Hours of Work:
Full Time-144 hours per month
8am – 8pm (day shift)
8pm – 8am (waking night shift)
8pm – 8am (sleeping night shift) (8pm-10pm & 6am-8am paid at waking night rate)
A full UK driving licence is ESSENTIAL
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required.
Rates of Pay:
£14.00 per hour for day shifts (Monday to Friday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£15.00 per hour for day shifts (Saturday to Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£15.00 per hour for waking night shifts (Monday to Friday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£16.00 per hour for waking night shifts (Saturday to Sunday), upon successful completion of competencies and training
£120.00 per night (gross) - Sleeping night rate
£12.71 per hour – training rate
