About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant / Handyman to support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems to a high standard, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
- Complete repairs efficiently and report major faults
- Respond to guest and department maintenance requests promptly
- Support health & safety, fire, and emergency procedures
- Assist with stock control and energy-saving initiatives
- Liaise with contractors when required
- Provide cover in absence of Supervisor or Maintenance Manager
About You
- Previous maintenance, engineering, or facilities experience preferred
- Basic electrical, plumbing, or mechanical knowledge
- Good problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Flexible to work the odd weekend if needed
