We’re looking for an organised, proactive and collaborative Programme Assistant to join our Programme Office and provide high-quality support across a portfolio of strategic programmes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating information, supporting programme delivery and building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
You’ll work closely with Programme and Project Managers, Directors, delivery partners and local organisations to help ensure programmes are well managed, monitored and delivered effectively.
?? About the role
As Programme Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and programme support, helping to ensure the smooth operation and effective implementation of our programmes.
You will:
?? Support programme monitoring and reporting, including programme plans, risks, issues, outputs, outcomes, budgets and cashflow.
??? Maintain accurate corporate systems, records and programme documentation.
?? Support monitoring and evaluation activity, including collating, analysing and reporting information.
?? Monitor and report on programme spend and cashflow projections.
?? Build effective working relationships with Programme and Project Managers, delivery partners, stakeholders and local organisations.
? Support the implementation of the Combined Authority’s programme delivery and assurance approach.
The role will also provide direct support to Programme Managers and Directors, helping the Programme Office maintain effective and consistent programme delivery.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
? Strong organisational and administrative skills.
?? An understanding of programme management and performance management frameworks.
?? Experience of programme reporting, including project plans, risks and issues, outputs and outcomes, budgets and cashflow.
