About the Role
Due to our recent move into a larger new workshop and continued high customer demand, Stacks of Tyres is looking for an experienced Tyre Technician to join our growing team.
We are one of Stoke-on-Trent's busiest and highest-reviewed tyre centres, with 1,500+ customer reviews, and we're looking for someone who can work confidently in a fast-paced workshop while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer care.
Our main requirement is someone who is experienced and confident with tyre fitting. Experience with wheel alignment and suspension work would be a strong advantage, but this is not essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Fitting and removing tyres safely and efficiently
- Tyre repairs and puncture repairs
- Wheel balancing
- Checking tyre condition, pressures and tread depths
- TPMS and valve replacement
- Working on cars and vans
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area
- Looking after workshop tools and equipment
- Working as part of the team during busy periods
- Providing a high standard of workmanship on every vehicle
Additional Skills – Advantageous
Experience in any of the following would be a bonus:
- 3D wheel alignment
- Tracking and steering adjustment
- Suspension work
- Brakes
- Basic/light mechanical work
- TPMS diagnostics
These additional skills are not essential – an experienced tyre fitter is our main priority.

- Hold a full UK driving licence
