Branch Manager – Domiciliary Care
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused Branch Manager to take responsibility for our established domiciliary care branch in Farnham.
This is not a branch that needs building from scratch. You will be joining an experienced office team and a fantastic group of carers, with the support of our Registered Manager and wider management team around you.
We are looking for someone who understands home care and can confidently lead a busy branch, but the person behind the role matters just as much to us.
Our current Branch Manager has been an important part of our business for many years and has made the difficult decision to return home to South Africa to be closer to her family. She will be deeply missed, so finding the right person to take over the branch is very important to us.
We want someone caring, approachable and genuine, who leads by example and understands that good care begins with looking after the people delivering it.
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting the office team and carers
- Taking day-to-day responsibility for the running of the Farnham branch
- Maintaining high standards of care, quality and compliance
- Building strong relationships with clients and their families
- Managing new enquiries and assessments
- Supporting the continued growth of the branch
- Working closely with the Registered Manager and wider management team
- Understanding the branch figures and taking responsibility for performance
- Making sure clients and carers feel known, listened to and supported
- Creating a positive culture where people enjoy coming to work and feel part of the branch
We would like to hear from someone who:
- Has management experience within domiciliary care, home care or a similar care setting
- Understands what is involved in running a busy care branch
- Is confident leading a team while remaining approachable and involved
- Has a good understanding of CQC requirements, compliance and quality
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Is comfortable dealing with clients, families and carers
- Can balance quality of care with the commercial responsibilities of running a branch
- Has a Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, or is willing to work towards one
- Holds a full UK driving licence
We would also be interested in hearing from an experienced Care Manager or Deputy Manager who feels ready to take the next step into Branch Management.
This is an important appointment for us. We are not simply looking for someone to manage figures and processes. We want someone who will genuinely care about the branch, the team and the people we support.
In return, we offer a supportive working environment, ongoing training and development, opportunities to progress, pension, holiday entitlement and mileage where applicable.
If you would like an informal conversation about the role before applying, please contact Nicola on 07813 949070 or [email protected].
