We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Administrative Assistant to join our busy school office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing outstanding administrative support to staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
As the first point of contact for the school, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office while supporting the day-to-day administration of the school.

Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and school staff.

Answer telephone calls, emails, and respond to enquiries professionally.

Welcome visitors, parents, and contractors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.

Maintain accurate pupil records and update school management systems.

Process attendance information and support with admissions administration.

Prepare letters, reports, and other school documentation.

Manage incoming and outgoing post.

Order office supplies and maintain stock levels.

Support the organisation of school events, meetings, and appointments.

Assist with general office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
The successful candidate will have:

Previous administrative or office experience (school experience is desirable but not essential).

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A professional, friendly, and approachable manner.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
