Carpenter / Carpet Fitter – Cruise Ship Refurbishment

GME International Consultancy Ltd is looking for experienced Carpenters with carpet fitting experience to join our specialist teams carrying out refurbishment and renovation projects on luxury cruise ships.
This is an exciting opportunity to travel the world while working on high-end maritime refurbishment projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair and modify cabinetry, furniture and interior fixtures.
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry work.
- Measure, cut and fit carpets to a high standard.
- Remove and replace existing flooring where required.
- Work from drawings and project specifications.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Work efficiently as part of a professional onboard refurbishment team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Experience laying commercial carpets is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally.
- Flexibility to work away from home for project durations.
- Own hand tools preferred.
