Following continued success and business growth, we’re looking for an experienced and proactive Internal IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position with responsibility for supporting and developing our internal IT infrastructure across the business.
Reporting to senior management, you’ll be the first point of contact for internal IT support, ensuring our systems, networks and hardware remain secure, reliable and effective.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, ambitious and solutions-focused, with strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to identify improvements and play an important role in the ongoing development of our IT systems and CRM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support to users across the business
- Act as the first point of contact for internal IT queries and issues
- Manage and maintain our network infrastructure and hardware
- Maintain and administer our Microsoft 365 environment
- Monitor the performance, reliability and security of our IT systems
- Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Recommend improvements to our existing systems, processes and infrastructure
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of our internal IT systems
- Oversee and contribute to the continued development of our CRM
- Work closely with senior management on IT requirements and future projects
- Provide IT support across our three Cheshire offices, with some travel between locations required
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate should have experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, with a good understanding of:
- Network infrastructure, routing and switching
- IT security and firewalls/filtering
- Windows Server environments
- Microsoft 365
- Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
- Virtualisation
- Storage and backup solutions
- Windows operating systems
- VoIP and SIP technologies
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
You’ll also need strong communication skills and the ability to confidently support users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
What We Offer
- Salary up to £32,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday working hours – 8:45am to 5:15pm
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Permanent, full-time position
