Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to individual patient needs in different home or healthcare settings.
- Administer medications accurately and safely, following prescribed protocols and ensuring proper documentation.
- Monitor patient conditions, observe symptoms, and report changes promptly to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Apply knowledge of human anatomy to assess patient health status and inform care plans effectively.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and wellness strategies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all nursing activities and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing registration with the NMC
- Proven experience in patient care within diverse healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and clinical procedures
- Competence in medication administration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and empathetic support
