Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated reactive Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drainage systems both internally and externally and be proficient in the use of HPWJ and mechanical cable equipment to deal with all kinds of blocked drains. This will include toilets, showers, sinks, baths, and all other associated drains both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- liaising with customers both domestically and commercially on a day to day basis both face to face and by telephone.
- ensuring paperwork is completed after every job and handed to the office on a daily basis.
- To be presentable, clean and tidy on every job and to keep home owners and business premises in a clean and tidy state once jobs are complete.
- To keep company vehicles, tools and equipment in a clean state.
Requirements
- Proven experience in all types of drain clearance (initial 3 month trial)
- To be part of an emergency call out rota for evenings and weekends ( 1 in 3 weeks on call sharing with two other engineers)
- Valid driving licence and over 25 for insurance purposes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a sometimes challenging environment.
