About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Bricklayer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry while gaining a nationally recognised Level 2 Bricklaying qualification.
You’ll work alongside experienced bricklayers on new-build housing developments, learning the trade through hands-on site experience combined with college-based training.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting qualified bricklayers with day-to-day tasks.
- Learning all aspects of bricklaying, including setting out, blockwork, brickwork and cavity wall construction.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Attending the training hub to carry out your course projects and sessions as required.
- Developing the skills needed to become a fully qualified bricklayer.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Own transport to Cambridge each day (site and training centre are both based in Cambridge).
- A valid CSCS card will be required.
- Some experience using a trowel or working on construction sites is preferred but not essential.
