We are a privately run care home who prides ourselves on delivering high standards of care to 20 residents living with Learning Disabilities.
· NVQ Level 2 / 3 required. Clear DBS required.
- To coordinate activities, outings and wellbeing etc.
- Support clients with their wants and wishes.
- Spend 1-1 time with clients as well as in a group.
· To look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person centered approach.
· To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders.
· To provide personalised activities and support to Clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities.
To hold regular residents meetings to discuss activities, outings and meals.
To attend regular and necessary training and staff meetings.
· To be upbeat and positive.
Arranging and attending fun days out.
· Suitable candidates would be required to work weekdays and weekends.
Qualifications and Skills
Health and social care NVQ level 2 would be an advantage or an equivalent qualification.
Must have at least 1-year experience working in Health and Social care.
Driving license would be an advantage.
Must have a clear DBS.
Must speak English.
