Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel or hospitality environments, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a keen eye for detail. This role is pivotal in ensuring guest satisfaction through impeccable housekeeping services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise workflow and maintain consistency.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address any guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
