Winsley Church of England Primary is a vibrant and exciting place to learn and work, situated at the heart of the community in Winsley Village. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dedicated team to work 18.75 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about making a positive impact on children's learning and development in a primary school setting.
The successful candidate will help create a positive and safe learning environment, supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to support teaching and learning activities within the classrooms.
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with children of a relevant age group in an educational or childcare setting.
- Minimum of GCSEs (grades 9 to 4 / A* to C) in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A compassionate and positive attitude, with a commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils.

This is a fixed term vacancy working 18.75 hours per week, term time only plus one INSET paid at Grade D4 (actual salary £10,752 per annum) based at Winsley Primary School. Monday and Friday mornings in Years 5/6, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings until 2pm in Years 2/3.
