Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training new team members and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and portion control.
- Coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow during service hours.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support in serving dishes during busy periods when necessary and ensure excellent customer service is maintained.

- Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality presentation and flavour balance.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.

Pay: £12.81-£13.50 per hour
