Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations
- Manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality control throughout the kitchen
- Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks
- Train new team members and foster a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development
- Experience in food production, menu development, and culinary innovation

Pay: £12.76-£13.00 per hour
