We're a warm, welcoming private nursery in Sidcup, and as we continue to grow, we're looking for a caring, dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our wonderful team.

The other things we are looking for are:
- Qualified practitioner candidates joining our motivated and enthusiastic team will have responsibility for day to day engagement with our lovely children, parent/carers and our Rise and Shine team in one of our children's rooms. They will support the Assistant Manager with the desire and ability to deliver top quality childcare.
The roles will involve ensuring our environment is safe and secure, where the children are valued as individuals through a loving and child centred approach in all aspects of delivery of the EYFS.
Ensuring that the children have access to good learning opportunities throughout their time at the nursery; planning the room, providing learning activities which are educational, stimulating and fun.
To deliver childcare in a way that meets parents’/carers’ needs and works in partnership with them providing high levels of customer care at all times.
Ensuring our Policies & Procedures are met alongside the EYFS and associated statutory guidelines and good practice.
The successful candidate will be working as part of our team to deliver outstanding care whilst providing a safe, fun and progressive learning environment for the children. Qualifications, training and experience required:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
Must have prior experience in a similar role based in a formal childcare setting, or the desire and ability to progress from Nursery Practitioner to Room Leader.
Sound EYFS knowledge and experience.
Working knowledge of OFSTED standards.
Ability to work well in partnership with parents/agencies.
An ability to organise own work and use initiative.
Good time management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
People management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team, and organise the team’s work on a daily basis and assume responsibility for same.
Working knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities and inclusivity.
