Flexi Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Pocklington
Pay: £12.70 per hour
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with Saturday working until 12:00pm
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Flexi Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Pocklington.
The main focus of the role will be operating a Flexi forklift truck safely and efficiently, supporting pallet movements, stock put-away, replenishment and general warehouse operations.
This is not a solely FLT-based role. The successful candidate will also be expected to support with other duties across the warehouse as and when required, helping the wider team maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate a Flexi forklift truck
- Move, store and retrieve pallets
- Complete stock put-away and replenishment
- Support goods-in and goods-out operations
- Load and unload vehicles where required
- Carry out routine stock checks and report discrepancies
- Complete daily forklift safety checks
- Maintain accurate paperwork and system records
- Support picking, packing, wrapping and general warehouse duties
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards
- Follow all site procedures, policies and operational instructions
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and the wider warehouse team
Essential requirements
- Valid Flexi or Bendi Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating a Flexi truck in a warehouse environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable undertaking physical warehouse duties
- Flexible approach and willingness to support other areas
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Saturday Working
Desirable experience
- Experience within e-commerce, fulfilment, logistics or third-party warehousing
- Experience using a warehouse management system
- Previous stock-control, goods-in or dispatch experience
- Additional Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence
