Overview
Position: Beauty Therapist
Salary: £26,555.03 per annum
Location: The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and related sites
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Contract: Full-time, permanent

About the role
As a Beauty Therapist, you will deliver a range of complementary and beauty therapies to patients, their families and staff. Working within the Wellbeing Team and in partnership with our NHS colleagues, you will deliver person-centered care to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a professional range of therapies across multiple locations
- Ensuring high standards of care, safety and cleanliness at all times
- Managing appointment bookings and schedules effectively
- Building strong relationships with NHS colleagues and stakeholders
- Work with other teams to promote communication via social media
- Maintaining accurate patient records in line with GDPR
- Contributing to audits, evaluations and continuous service improvement
- Supporting team members, new staff and volunteers as required
- Adhering to policies, procedures and mandatory training requirements
- Supporting fundraising activity and promoting the charity’s work

About you
You will be a qualified and empathetic professional with a passion for supporting people affected by cancer. You will bring both technical expertise and a caring, person-centered approach.
You will have:
- HND in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Experience of working with patients with active, progressive and advanced medical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Confidence in managing appointments and workload effectively
- A compassionate, values-driven approach to care
- IT skills across Microsoft Office
