Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant brunch restaurant environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter until they leave.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.
Requirements
- Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
