EON Utility Solutions are a multi utility provider connecting residential, commercial and industrial developments to the grid. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth by developing new business opportunities across key market segments, including residential and commercial new builds, local authorities, consultants, and contractors.
- Achieve significant growth year-on-year through both growth in existing markets and promotion of EON Utility Solutions across target market geography and segments.

Accountability for developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships to drive sales.

Work closely with customers both new and existing to understand their business requirements, gather competitor intelligence and insight into market offerings to enhance EON Utility Solutions competitiveness

Follow up on leads and enquiries received from both internal and external sources.

Monitor and report on customer engagement and sales generated.

Work with the New Business Manager and depot’s commercial engineers in developing their existing customer contacts to drive further growth.

Support the EON Utility Solutions operational management team through customer relationship management.

Carry out appropriate hand-over sessions with the operational teams as required when new customers are onboarded and orders secured.

Development and
- Extensive experience and technical knowledge from working in the utility/ICP sector or a track record of successfully delivering major, complex projects for major construction businesses.

Proven track record in sales with a focus on business growth and consistently achieving targets.

Good commercial acumen and able to understand where E.ON can add value to relevant projects over and above the delivery requirements.

Understanding of contractual terms and conditions and able to advise on their impact to the team.

Enhanced conflict resolution skills covering internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrate understanding of the key benefits of energy saving measures to promote these within the tender.

Proven experience in identifying and engaging new customers leading to secured orders for work in a contracting environment.
