The Role
As our Activities Coordinator, you won’t just “run activities” — you’ll bring the home to life.
You’ll be:
- Creating fun, meaningful, and sometimes wonderfully unexpected activities
- Bringing joy, laughter, and connection into everyday moments
- Getting to know residents as individuals — their stories, hobbies, quirks, and passions
- Turning simple ideas into memorable experiences
- Encouraging participation (with charm, not pressure — no forced dancing here… unless requested )
- Working with a warm, welcoming team who genuinely care
You Might Be Perfect If You:
- Are creative, energetic, and a little bit quirky
- Love working with older people and making a real difference
- Can turn a cup of tea into an event and a Tuesday into a highlight
- Have great people skills and a natural ability to connect
- Are organised… but can roll with the unexpected
- Have experience in care, wellbeing, activities, or community work (helpful, but not essential — personality matters more!)
