Job Summary
We are seeking Community Care and support Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a care settings. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities.
Must have a valid driving licence and have access to a car as this job requires traveling to service users home.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming for clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is an advantage.
- Skills in meal preparation and general caregiving are essential.
- Experience in childcare may be beneficial for those working with families.
- Certification in first aid is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
