Community Law Service is a specialist advice provider based in Northamptonshire. The Service delivers free, independent and confidential advice and casework to the public in the fields of welfare benefits, debt, fuel poverty, housing and immigration. CLS is a member of AdviceUK, the East Midlands Immigration Network and the East Midlands Money Advice partnership.
ENERGY ADVISER (trainee considered)- Crisis and Resilience Fund
HOURS: 28 hours per week
Purpose of post: To deliver energy advice to residents living in North Northamptonshire to reduce energy costs, reduce energy arrears, improve confidence in managing household budgets, address any financial crisis, reduce the risk of future crisis and build financial resilience.
WELFARE BENEFIT ADVISER (trainee considered)- Crisis and Resilience Fund
HOURS: 35 hours per week
Purpose of post: To deliver benefit advice and casework to residents living in North Northamptonshire to improve household income, address any financial crisis, reduce the risk of future crisis and build financial resilience
SALARY: £24,779 - £28,962 per annum (pro rata for part time) dependent on experience.
BENEFITS: 26 days a year annual leave pro rata (rising to 31 days pro rata after 5 years’ service) plus Bank Holidays

OFFICE BASE: 123 Midland Road, Wellingborough (initially working from 49-53 Hazelwood Road Northampton if training required)

The post will include some travel to outreach venues. Own transport essential.
