St Aubyns is looking for capable and enthusiastic Full Time Kitchen Manager to join the team at their nursing home in Sidcup.
We work with Apetito to meet the dietary requirements of all our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the kitchen, set up the rota and take care of the stock control
- Oversee the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Preparing Apetito meals as per instruction, and provide side dishes and beverages for residents and team members, as per their requirements.
- Shift patterns will be either early (08:00 to 14:00) or late shifts (14:00 to 19:00) five days a week, and working alternate weekends. Expected to work 37.5 hours a week.
Skills
- A capability to work independently.
- Maintain a clean safe and functional kitchen. Prior experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
- Level-2 Certificate in Food and Safety Proficient
- Ability to prioritise workload and work well leading a team
