Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and expertly crafted matcha drinks with precision and flair
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and assembling menu items
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling transactions and giving correct change using basic math skills
- Ensure timely service by managing multiple orders efficiently through effective time management
- Uphold health and safety regulations consistently to guarantee a safe environment for both customers and staff
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or strong enthusiasm to learn the art of coffee and tea making
- Knowledge of food safety practices and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
- Experience serving customers in a fast-paced setting with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Passion for matcha, tea culture, or specialty beverages is a plus!
