About the Role
Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic NTAP to join schools across Essex, with opportunities available in Chelmsford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a real difference to pupils. You'll work alongside experienced teachers and school staff, supporting pupils in their learning and helping create a positive classroom environment.
Job Description
As an NTAP, you may be responsible for:
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and lessons
- Working with individual pupils and small groups
- Helping pupils stay engaged and focused on their learning
- Providing support to pupils with additional needs
- Encouraging positive behaviour and building strong relationships with pupils
- Helping prepare classroom resources and activities
- Supporting the wider classroom team with day-to-day tasks
- Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Previous experience working in a school or education setting is desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, caring and positive approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- The confidence to work with different age groups and abilities
- A reliable and adaptable attitude
- A willingness to learn and develop within education
