Farm assistant wanted for an arable farm/grain store north of Bristol in South Gloucestershire.
The successful applicant will need to be computer literate, have knowledge of combinable crops and have experience driving loading shovels and tractors. Any mechanical/welding/ safety qualifications would be a bonus.
It would be beneficial but not essential to have previous workshop/machinery maintenance experience as day to day vehicle checks are part of the role.
You must be prepared to work hard and under pressure and have good attention to detail as the work requires accuracy and consistent clear paperwork.
A friendly, approachable attitude is a must as you will be working as part of the team and interacting with delivery drivers and our customers when they deliver and collect.
Details :
- Normal hours 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday plus some Saturday mornings when busy
- Opportunity for additional hours if wanted especially during the summer and autumn
- 31 days paid holidays including bank holidays
- Must have a full drivers licence.
The role would be based at Latteridge near Iron Acton, north of Bristol.
