Overview
At Hansen Civil Ltd we pride ourselves on quality, Competency and time keeping as this is a major part of our scope of works in the utilities sector.
This particular job role will require you to be fit an able as you will be assisting in day to day tarmacing activities I.e barrowing, shovelling, sweeping, willing to learn how to use power tools like a whacker plate, stihl saw, trench Rammer and Ped roller.
Duties
- assisting in loading the van in the morning with the correct tools and material for the day ahead, making sure that the van is fully stocked with everything needed.
- assisting in prepping tarmac ready for laying as soon as you arrive on site.
- Operate light machinery and vehicles such stihl Saw‘s, with proper training and certification- this will be provided.
- Turning up on time
- Keeping the site tidy at all times
- Follow health and safety protocols rigorously to create a safe working environment for all team members
- Good attitude to work
Experience
- Previous experience in tarmac is preferred but not essential as we are willing to train you up
- Clean manual license.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Tickets like Streetworks, Shea Gas, Shea Water are advantageous but not essential
Pay: £140.00-£150.00 per day
