Buddies Clubs and Services is a well-established, professional organisation situated in the West of Glasgow. Buddies term time Nursery is looking to employ an Child Development Officer who is passionate about delivering high quality early learning and childcare.

We want to hear from candidates who are responsible, dedicated and who take pride in helping children reach their fullest potential.
The qualification required for this role is at minimum SVQ Level 3 Social Services Children and Young People or equivalent. You will preferably have experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery environment and have practical experience working with the Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three. However, we are willing to consider applications from newly qualified individuals. Please do not apply if you do not possess the correct qualification.
The shift pattern will be Week 1/ 8:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday and Week 2/ 8:30am-5:30pm.
We provide a comprehensive induction and training programme. Continuous Professional Development training is also encouraged.
You will be required to complete a Protecting Vulnerable Group Scheme (PVG) application and be able to provide two satisfactory references prior to starting this post. The postholder will be required to register with the SSSC upon commencing work, if not already registered. A company pension scheme is available.
