Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable In-Store Team Members who are also capable delivery drivers to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in food preparation, customer service, and efficient delivery operations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, excellent time management skills, and a friendly demeanour to ensure a positive experience for our customers both in-store and on the road. This position provides valuable experience in the hospitality and logistics sectors, with a focus on delivering quality service and delicious food.
Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
- Serve customers efficiently in a fast-paced environment, providing friendly and professional assistance
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate point-of-sale systems with proficiency
- Safely package orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and presentation are maintained during transit
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ specified locations, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or catering is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and order calculations
- Experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently under pressure
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining excellent customer relations
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in delivery driving preferred but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable manner with strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
