Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Team Leader to join Iconic Pubs and help lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a Team Leader, you will support the management team with the day-to-day running of the venue, helping to maintain high standards across service, cleanliness, organisation and team performance. You will lead by example on shift, motivate the team and ensure our guests receive friendly, efficient and professional service every time they visit.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is looking to develop their leadership and management experience within a growing pub business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team during shifts to deliver excellent guest service
- Help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue
- Lead by example and create a positive, professional and welcoming working environment
- Coach, support and provide feedback to team members to help develop their skills and performance
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members understand their responsibilities during each shift
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the venue
- Support food and drink service while ensuring company standards and procedures are followed
- Help drive sales by promoting products, offers and events and encouraging great guest engagement
- Support stock control, deliveries, wastage management and general venue organisation
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling and other shift management responsibilities
- Respond professionally to guest questions, feedback and complaints and escalate issues where appropriate
- Ensure health and safety, licensing, food safety and company policies are followed at all times
- Support the management team with administration, reporting and operational tasks where required
Requirements
- Previous experience within pubs, bars, restaurants or hospitality is preferred
- Previous supervisory or Team Leader experience is desirable, although we will consider strong hospitality team members ready to take their next step
- Confident leading and motivating a team in a busy environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sensible decisions during busy periods
- Reliable, proactive and willing to take responsibility
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- A positive attitude and willingness to support different areas of the business when required

Pay: £12.90-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
