Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and organize stock within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move products securely and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and warehouse documentation
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment to support warehouse operations
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations preferred but training given
- Valid driver’s license suitable for <PERSON> driver or equivalent heavy vehicle license
- Experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in stock handling and organization an advantage
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
- Prior experience in a fast-paced logistics or distribution setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
