Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prepper/Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing pannels, alloy wheels & applying paint ensuring high-quality finishes. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colours and finishes
- Apply paint using spray guns, spray equipment, maintaining consistent coverage
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during preparation and painting tasks
- Conduct minor repairs or touch-ups as needed to maintain surface integrity
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for handling tools and equipment efficiently
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, spray guns, pulling equipment & airlines
- Experience with power tools including spray guns, drills, or grinders is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during material handling tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes with minimal imperfections
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions if working outdoors

At least 5-7 years experience is required & national qualification is highly recommended
Pay: £13.84-£16.50 per hour
