Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Head Door Supervisor to oversee the entrance and exit points of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role requires excellent observational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to loss prevention and safety protocols. The Head Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue while upholding high standards of security and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entrance and exit areas, ensuring only authorised individuals gain access
- Manage other Security Staff on Site
- Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and professionally
- Provide assistance to visitors, including offering directions and answering queries
- Perform regular checks to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, visitor logs, and surveillance footage as required
- Collaborate with security team members to coordinate patrols and security measures
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles is desirable
- First aid certification or willingness to undertake training upon appointment
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in identifying suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine patrols
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is advantageous but not essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or special events as required

Pay: £14.85-£16.25 per hour
