Take phone reservations
● Welcome customers take them to their table
● Take customer orders and explain the menu. Assess customer’s preferences and make
recommendations taking allergy considerations into account
● Serve food to the customers
● Prepare the table for every course (clean, fill water glasses and bread baskets, pour wine
etc). Ensure tables are cleared and reset in a swift but discreet manner
● Respond to customer queries politely and courteously at all times and escalate if necessary
● Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
● Take payment from customers
● Maintain exceptional restaurant standards of service and cleanliness, undertaking cleaning
of all areas of the ‘front of house’, both internally and externally, including but not limited to
floors and toilets
● Work closely with senior members of staff to ensure daily restaurant duties are carried out
successfully
● Carry out all duties in accordance with Health & Safety, Food Safety (paying particular
attention to expiration dates on consumables), Fire Safety and company policies and
procedures
● Other duties as required by your line manager
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
