Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, supporting children's development, and fostering a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to children's developmental stages
- Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through personalised care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards of care
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote positive relationships
- Lead by example in behaviour management, promoting good manners and respectful interactions
- Support children during routines such as meal times, toileting, and rest periods
- Contribute to the organisation of outings, events, and parent meetings as required
- Assist in the ongoing assessment of children's progress and maintain accurate records
Experience
- Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Proven experience working with children within nursery or early years settings
- Demonstrable management or leadership skills within a childcare environment is desirable
- Experience in delivering early childhood education programmes aligned with national frameworks
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Experience working with diverse groups of children from different backgrounds
