Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Warehouse Operative / Van Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Controlling stock using hand held scanners
- Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Safely operate a van to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Picking orders using hand held scanners from storage locations and bringing them for packing or to the loading bay for transportation
- Packing, palletising and loading goods to a safe and high standard.
- Carry out daily van deliveries and collections as required, ensuring goods are delivered accurately, safely and on time
- Planning and following efficient delivery routes to maximise customer service and operational efficiency.
- Promoting good customer service by ensuring a fast, reliable, and accurate service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse operative with a strong focus on safety and efficiency
- Valid UK driver’s license
- Prior warehouse experience demonstrating familiarity with stock handling and organization
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers effectively
- Knowledge of driving regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
