Asset Business Systems is a small company that for over 30 years has been providing accountancy and stock control software, mainly to the automotive industry. Our customers are micro/small SMEs, ranging from sole traders to multi-site, multi-million-pound turnover businesses. About the Role:
We are looking for someone with experience and great understanding of double entry bookkeeping and stock control/accountancy software, who is ready for a challenge and a desire to be a valuable member in what we expect to be a growing team.
In this role, you’ll use your technical and financial knowledge, together with the training we’ll provide, to support our customers via phone and e-mail in overcoming their stock control and bookkeeping challenges. You’ll demonstrate how to achieve desired outcomes, troubleshoot discrepancies and make clear the implications of actions taken. You’ll also be the voice of our customers; you will be actively involved in discussions that will influence the road map of our products to support our customers’ developing needs.
Your Primary Role:
· Provide support to our customer base with their software and bookkeeping
challenges.
· Support the on boarding process of new customers and provide system training as required.
· Support our internal accounts team as well as training further team members to work alongside you.
Role Requirements:
- At least AAT Level 2 required
· Experience of double-entry bookkeeping and accountancy and stock control software.
· A readiness and willingness to learn new systems.
· Empathy with the challenges of working on a computer when it is not your primary skill.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Great communication skills with all players in our customers’ businesses, from key stakeholders to reluctant computer system users.
· Great interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive when working as part of a team.
· Self-starting and high motivation, with the ability to set own work goals and daily structure.
· The ability to build a rapport with customers and gain an insight and understanding of their business and goals.
The Package:
· Hybrid or Office based with flexibility to attend training and meetings as required at our Office in Bristol as well as occasionally travel for a customer site visit.
(Please Note – we anticipate 6-8 weeks of system training at our Office in Bristol as well as travelling to Customer sites – please be aware of the need to be on-site for this initial training period).
· Hours: Full Time
· Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with a degree of flexibility to support our customers’ needs outside of these hours.
· 25 days holiday a year plus Bank holidays.

Pay: From £37,000.00 per year
