As a Commis Chef at Hambleton Hall you are part of the hotel team why our guests keep coming back for more. Our chefs work to impress our guests, creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding expectations from breakfast right through to dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return. You will have the opportunity to work around the kitchen to experience all the separate sections.
You will be involved in creating and cooking dishes from our changing menus as well as tasting menus. We utilise the wonderful fresh ingredients from our local producers and suppliers, as well as our own kitchen garden.
Every individual working at Hambleton Hall shares a common desire to deliver the very best service. The team numbers around 70 depending on the season, including gardeners, chefs, housekeepers, waiting staff, reservations and marketing people and management.
Everyone supports each other in delivering warm and attentive hospitality, so our guests experience thoughtful, generous and memorable treatment while enjoying their holiday in the beautiful Rutland countryside. The management team lead by example; they are hands-on to ensure a smooth operation, resulting in a respectful staff and happy guests.
