A bit about the role
We’re excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant, ideally with three years or more experience, to join our reputable Residential Property team.
Working closely with our experts, you will provide high‑quality administrative support and assistance, playing a key role in ensuring our work is delivered efficiently and to the exceptional, personable standards our clients expect.
Day to day responsibilities
- Acting as a professional first point of contact for client’s/developers’/ brokers/other parties
- Processing clients’ initial onboarding documentation, including carrying out ID checks and progressing matters through the early stages of residential and new build transactions.
- Working within InfoTrack (training will be provided)
- Prepare and issue draft contract packs for residential property transactions
- Assist with responding to sale enquiries
- Order relevant searches once contract pack has been received.
- Manage Lifetime ISA (LISA) and Help To Buy ISA withdrawal requests
- Dealing with NHBC warranty portal.
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Forms and Land Registry Forms
- Drafting mortgage reports to clients.
- Assist with Exchange work. Including scanning & saving exchanged Contracts, Drafting and sending out correspondence to other solicitors.
- Assist with completion matters, including confirming receipt of completion funds, notifying estate agents of completion, authorising key release, and preparing and issuing completion correspondence to clients and solicitors.
- Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives, service standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
