We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Smart / Cosmetic Paint Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing on-site paint repair and cosmetic enhancement services directly at clients' locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle aesthetics, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile cosmetic paint repairs on vehicles at client locations, ensuring high standards of finish and durability.
- Assess vehicle damage or imperfections and determine the most effective repair techniques.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting or touch-up work.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out repairs.
- Apply paint, colour matching, and finishing techniques to restore vehicles’ appearance seamlessly.
- Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment, parts, or vehicles as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair processes and completion times.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle cosmetic repairs or related fields is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with practical skills in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in various locations.
- Valid driving licence is essential for travel between client sites.
- Knowledge of colour matching techniques and automotive paint systems is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude with good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
