Duties
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and facilities to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hotel management to address guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards and workplace safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality environment.
- Strong background in janitorial services with knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and regulations related to cleanliness and safety.
