Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning activities to management promptly.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area after completing cleaning tasks.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies when necessary.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to professional cleaning practices.
